The Moorlanders are a superstitious, often bloodthirsty bunch. Over seven generations have been birthed and put to rest in these eerie misty moor where dead are said to speak and witchcraft to be practiced whenever you are not looking. Ailments, illness and superstition run rampant and unchecked, often leading to untimely deaths and unfair execution. While the elder is well respected and often looked to for leadership during times of need, the bunch is usually governed by the mob. These members are vigilantes, essentially, taking the law into their own hands and acting violently in order to exterminate the 'vermin' among them.

While the mob dictate the town, there are others that lie unnoticed, whose voices are unheard. Pacifists who are unwilling to fight their own families or neighbours. However, not all are willing to be humbled and expected to submit. These are the true champions of all that strive for prosperity and better times, where no one lives in fear.

LAW.
The trials are harsh and often lead to a horrible death of the convicted, such punishments include 'being fed to the lake monsters;' to be chased into the lake by the whole town to drown. Having their legs broken and left in the middle of the moor to die, as well as other various other ways of execution.
